  GSF Wounded Warriors on the Lower Owens

Golden State Flycasteres is once again resuming our Wounded Warriors Fly Fishing program with the Marines of Camp Pendleton.

We will be kicking this years program off with an invitation for six Marines to join us on the Lower Owens trip Dates: February 18-21, 2010.

We will drive to Bishop on Thursday afternoon. We’ll fish Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and head back Sunday afternoon.

This year we are requesting our GSF members to participate in this valuable program by donating your funds or time in support of our Marines.

These are our needs:

• Instructors for our weekly Fly Tying, Casting & Fishing program at Camp Pendleton.

• Instructors to accompany six Marines on the Lower Owens trip providing fly fishing friendship and instruction.

• Donations in support of the weekly fly tying & fishing program as well as the trip to the Lower Owens.
