The Instructors

Jeff Solis was the founding owner of the SD Fly Shop. He was one of the pioneers of effectively fly-fishing the surf in the early 1990s. He has fly fished extensively in Colorado, guided in the salt water of Baja, and fished in a variety of premium salt locations including the Bahamas and Christmas Island. Scott Donaghe has been fly-fishing in the surf for over 10 years. He has fly fished the Yucatan Peninsula and all over Baja. He is also an accomplished angling author and photographer and has penned several articles for California Fly Fisher and Southwest Fly Fishing. His website is www.scottdonaghe.com
